Frequently asked questions about this part

Will this tailgate fit my truck?
It is listed for GMC Sierra 2500HD 3500HD trucks from 2020 through 2026. Send us your year, make, model, trim and VIN before you order and we will confirm the fit for your exact truck.
What color is it and will it match my truck?
The factory finish is Sterling Metallic, as photographed. Factory paint fades differently on every truck, so even the correct color code can differ in shade from your existing panels; a body shop can blend it if needed.
Is this part new? What does OEM take-off mean?
It is a genuine factory part removed from another truck, usually at very low mileage when the truck was upfitted, so it is sold as used. The photos show its actual condition. It carries our 90-day parts-only limited warranty.
Are the photos of the exact part I will receive?
Yes. Every used and take-off listing is photographed individually and you receive the unit in the photos.
What comes with it?
Only what is shown in the photos and named in the listing. Brackets, hardware, bulbs, sensors and wiring are not included unless the listing says so. If you need a related part, ask and we will check the yard.
How does this tailgate ship?
On a pallet by LTL freight, free to all 50 states, with no liftgate or residential fees. The carrier calls to schedule a delivery window, delivery is curbside, and an adult must sign. Inspect it before you sign and note any damage on the delivery receipt.
