QuestionAnswer
Do you use cookies?Yes. Our store runs on WordPress and WooCommerce, which need a small number of cookies to keep your cart, your login and your checkout working.
Do you use cookies to track me across other websites? No. We do not run cross-site advertising cookies or sell browsing data.
Do you use analytics? We may use privacy-respecting analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. These cookies use a random identifier and do not contain your name or contact details.
Can I turn cookies off?Yes, in your browser settings. The site will still work, but your cart will not be remembered between visits and checkout may not complete.
Do you store card details in cookies?Never. Card details are handled only by our payment processor’s secure form.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device so that it can recognize your browser on later page views or visits. Cookies set by us are “first-party” cookies. Cookies set by another company whose service we use, such as our payment processor, are “third-party” cookies. Similar technologies include browser local storage, which stores small pieces of information on your device without sending them to us on every request, and session storage, which lasts only until you close the tab.

The cookies and storage we use

Strictly necessary

These are required for the store to work. They cannot be switched off through our site, because without them you could not add a part to your cart or check out. They do not track you across other websites.

The vehicle is stored in your browser. When you check a part, the year, make and model are sent to our server to look up the fitment rule; they are not linked to your name or account unless you place an order or contact us.Until you clear it with the “change vehicle” control or clear your browser storage

Analytics

We may use an analytics service, such as Google Analytics or a privacy-focused equivalent, to count visitors, see which pages and parts are viewed and understand how shoppers move through the store. These cookies (for example _ga, _gid and _ga_*) use a random identifier rather than your name, and we configure analytics to anonymize IP addresses where the service allows. We use the reports only to improve the store. If you would rather not be counted, block these cookies in your browser or use the opt-out tool offered by the analytics provider.

Advertising and social media

We do not currently use advertising, remarketing or social media tracking cookies on the Site. If we ever introduce them we will update this page, describe them here and, where required by law, ask for your consent first.

Other data we receive automatically

Like every website, our server records technical information about each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. Our hosting provider and security services use these logs to keep the Site running and to block attacks. Logs are kept for a limited period and are not used to build marketing profiles.

How to control cookies

  • Browser settings. Every major browser lets you view, delete and block cookies, either for all sites or for individual sites. Look under Settings, then Privacy or Site data. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies above will prevent you from adding parts to your cart or completing checkout; you can still browse, and you can order by phone at (210) 786-8152.
  • Local storage. The vehicle remembered by the Fitment Checker can be cleared with the “change vehicle” control on any product page, or by clearing site data in your browser.
  • Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. We do not use cross-site tracking, so there is nothing to switch off in response to these signals. Where a state law gives these signals legal effect, we honor them.
  • Analytics opt-out. Google offers a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout that stops Google Analytics on every site.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to know what personal information we hold, to have it deleted, or to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. Our Privacy Policy explains these rights and how to exercise them. You can also contact us using the details below.

Changes to this policy

We update this page when the cookies we use change. The “Last updated” date at the top tells you when the page was last revised. Material changes that introduce new categories of cookies will be announced with a notice on the Site.
